How to enroll

1. 1 Disassociated Persons List: apply in person at a Michigan Gaming Control Board office (application form on the MGCB site)
2. 2 Responsible Gaming Database (online gambling): complete the notarized RGD application and email it to [email protected] or mail it to MGCB, Attn: Responsible Gaming Section, 3062 W Grand Blvd, Suite L-700, Detroit, MI 48202
3. 3 You can also self-exclude directly with each individual online operator through its app or site

What to watch out for

The DPL lifetime ban applies only to the Detroit commercial casinos, not tribal casinos (tribal properties run their own exclusion programs). DPL removal can be requested after 5 years on the list. The RGD covers online gambling only; choose online sports betting, online casino, or both. RGD placement confirmation can take up to 45 days. Michigan problem gambling helpline: 1-800-270-7117.

Self-exclusion alone isn't enough

Michigan's program only binds operators licensed in the state — offshore sites and crypto casinos ignore it.
